Information for Managers and Coaches

All coaches, managers and committee members need to complete the working with children form on the above link.


Manager's role and duties

Contact team members to inform them of training time
Collect outstanding fees and photos
Organise a roster for washing of shirts
Contact team members in the event of a ground change or wash out
At season’s end write a report for the annual report
Coordinate your team’s assistance with fundraising activities
ON MATCH DAY:
Complete match sheet (GDSFA) or on line match sheet (CFA Sydney) sheet before kick off 
Organise a ground official and provide them the ground official's vest
Write a brief report of the game, including score, opposition, location, players who scored the goals, players who played well, how the overall match went, whether or not you had an official referee.
Email the report to Greg by the Saturday night (as the Club Secretary is required to inform the Association of the results on Saturday night and the newsletter needs to be prepared)

Coach's role and duties

Organise team training; a week day afternoon or evening at Granville Park
Organise player positions on the match day
Ensure game time for each player is fair and equitable
Attend Junior licence Coaching Course if practicable (the Club will sponsor)
